Testing of the STP concentrator on placers

The Service Technoprom company conducted tests of the STP-CC75 centrifugal concentrator at the placer deposit in Transbaikalia, installed after the gateway bypassing the main settling circuit, in order to demonstrate its effectiveness for additional recovery of gold, especially small fractions (minus 0.25 mm), which are poorly captured by traditional methods.
Tests have shown that the centrifugal concentrator, which requires less water and does not need to be cleaned, provides a higher degree of concentration and works stably in parallel with existing equipment, without requiring a long production shutdown, which confirms its practical applicability and economic benefits in conditions of reduced gold content in placers.
