Pilot industrial tests of the STP CC120 centrifugal concentrator at the site of the ZIF "Polyus Verninskoe"

In August 2023, pilot tests of our first STP CC120 centrifugal concentrator began at the ZIF "Polyus Verninskoye" site in the Irkutsk region

On the way to the production of our first industrial device, a set of tasks was completed:Suppliers of high-quality components have been identified and selected, engineering has been carried out, a complete set of design and working documentation has been developed, serial production of wear parts and critical components of the concentrator has been established, and a progressive quality control methodology has been introduced; to ensure the operational characteristics of the manufactured hubs and components and their compliance with the established requirements of the technical documentation.  

Pilot industrial tests of the CC120 concentrator will last 6 months. During this period, testing is carried out on the operating parameters, the time of the enrichment cycle, the flow rate of fluidization water, and centrifugal acceleration are optimized. The feed material, concentrate and tailings of centrifugal concentration are being tested. In addition, the main target mechanical parameters of the main structural components are recorded. 

As part of the tests, the compliance of the tested equipment with the actually achieved technological performance of existing equipment at this site (FLSmidth Knelson KC-XD48 centrifugal concentrators) is confirmed, as well as operational requirements and the possibility of uninterrupted operation with reaching the target values without significant changes to the existing technological circuit of the apparatus and the accepted operating parameters the site as a whole.

The tests carried out will help our company improve the design and subsequently scale up the production of concentrators in the implementation of promising large-scale projects.
